Frequently asked questions
Answers about certificate verification and accreditation.
Certificate verification
How do I verify a certificate?
Go to the Validate Certification page, enter the certificate number exactly as it appears on the certificate, and select Validate.
What information does the verification show?
The certificate number, the holder's name, the programme, the issue date, the expiry date (if any) and the current status of the certificate.
What do Valid, Expired and Invalid mean?
Valid: the certificate is genuine and current. Expired: the certificate was issued but its validity period has ended. Invalid: the certificate has been withdrawn or is not recognised.
The certificate was not found. What should I do?
Check that the number is typed exactly as printed, including any dashes or underscores. If it still cannot be found, contact us with a copy of the certificate and we will look into it.
Can I download a copy of my certificate?
If a digital copy has been uploaded, a Download Certificate button appears with the verification result.

Who can apply for accreditation?
Training providers, institutions and individual trainers. Institutions apply through the institution application, and trainers through the trainer application.
Which subject areas do you accredit?
